2016 AIA (SA) Commendation – Multi Residential
Situated on the edge of a burgeoning new inner suburban community and upon the historical high street of Gibson Street, Gibson & 7th was designed to be a part of the street – to soak up and enjoy the bustle and emit everyday life onto the street. It stands strong, proud of its historically industrial, urban locality, yet softly and positively in its relation to the human scale, the surrounding buildings, streets and park and with a layering of strong urban and softer residential materials.
