What feels like a seemingly light touch from afar, Unley Park Residence is given a newly formed sense and purpose, through the careful re-sculpting of its previous self. Sitting amongst a series of generous homes, the uniquely individual home was originally built in 1937 and captures a combined Art Deco and Art Nouveau styling, amongst influences of the Edwardian and Gothic periods. Over its multiple levels, the voluminous home combines original oversized masonry elements, an intricately woven herringbone bricked façade and timber strapping detailing. In its reimagining, a shared sense of lightness and connectively ensures a contemporary occupation.
