Continuing a long-standing lineage, Adelaide Residence is the story of an evolved relationship with place. Sitting on the edge of the city fringe, the residence faces the protected natural landscape parklands that circle the CBD. As both a renovation and repurposing, the resulting home is the return to base principles of what it is that comprises ‘home’ and the individual experience of retreat. The home becomes a showcase of a layered and storied life through treasured items and collected gems.
