Corner House
North Adelaide, 2026
Navigating a compressed inner-urban site the owner had previously lived in, Corner House marks a return shaped by restraint, clarity and lifestyle-led recalibration. Conceived as a quiet yet decisive evolution of a much-loved Victorian villa, the project resists outward expansion in favour of selective, carefully judged interventions. Retaining the heritage fabric to the street and much of the core interior, the primary architectural gesture is to open the house vertically and internally, bringing light, air and generosity into a tightly constrained footprint.
