Glen Osmond Residence
Adelaide, South Australia, 2019
If the Brady Bunch taught us anything, it was that a blended family needs space… and probably more than one bathroom!
Whilst this house didn’t lack space, what it did have it didn’t use very well. A full review of what was important has transformed a never ending lean-to and labyrinth of upper level rooms, into a light filled lantern, opening connections to the garden and pool, and a connected and flowing series of well-proportioned rooms – with an extra bathroom!
A palette of soft materials and authentic use of weathered brass brings warmth and life to a transformative renovation on a tight budget.
