In the spirit of the ‘shed’ as an object of familiarity, Millswood Residence takes on a similar elemental expression. Staggered forms are arranged one after the other and interpreted in various degrees of transparency, ultimately aligning to the natural flow of the water course already in place. Creating clear connections between inside and out, framed views punctuate the forms and direct views out to the surrounding landscape, and toward core outdoor rooms. Continuing a similar language externally, pathways throughout the site take on a parallel animation.
